Since 1955 Venchiarutti Gagliardi Architect Inc. and its predecessor firms (Venchiarutti & Venchiarutti, Leo E. Venchiarutti) have been providing architectural services within the Greater Toronto Area and throughout Ontario.

Team

Venchiarutti Gagliardi Architect Inc. (VGA) has a team of experienced and knowledgeable staff capable of handling various types of development projects.

THE FIRM

Our extensive retail experience, which includes a variety of big box retailers and specialty retailers, gives our clients a competitive edge as it relates to retail developments. Approaching each retail development with this experience ensures that our clients receive the optimum design input necessary for a successful development. Understanding what retailers “want” and “need” allows our clients to cater well to their potential users.

THE TEAM

Ronald D. Gagliardi, B. Tech., M. Arch., OAA, President

is the principal architect and our team leader, who oversees and manages the practice. Ron has over 30 years of knowledge and experience with both working drawings and design / build projects. He has extensive experience with all types of projects including industrial, commercial, institutional, residential, high-rise residential and retail stores. Ron is fully licensed in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Ron delegates each project to one of our Sr. Associates having the appropriate work experience to meet the demands of that specific project type or assignment. All our engineering requirements are outsourced as the need arises.

THE TEAM

Ernest Tamburri, B. Tech., M. Arch., OAA, Sr. Associate

as well brings over 30 years of experience in design / build, working drawings and contract administration to the firm. His experience extends to educational facilities, office buildings, hotels, apartments, historical renovations, retail stores and recreational projects.

THE TEAM

VGA has a team of in-house CAD technicianscomprised of Darren Lugowy, Ricardo Alcantara ensuring that the architects are in constant communication during the drawing stage and that last minute revisions can be made quickly. Our CAD team would not be complete without Rooben Assatory of Assatory Design who has worked for VGA for over 25 years bringing his technical expertise to our team.

THE TEAM

VGA’s team is supported by our administrative team of Maria Valerio who will greet you as you walk in the door, or when you call the office; Cathy White takes care of financial matters and Kim Murray keeps everyone organized with contract administration support and data management.

PROCESS

Our objective is to provide practical solutions and innovative designs that our clients can implement in their development projects. This is achieved through our unique team approach, along with our positive attitude towards problem solving. In addition to the skills and capabilities of our own team, we also work with a range of consultants, allowing us to offer our clients a full service package from engineering planning to specialty consulting. Our team approach produces tangible results, saving both time and money, ultimately leading to a successful building.

PROCESS

It is VGA’s goal as the project architect to fulfill the client’s needs by providing design solutions that work and by allowing the client to become a co-designer on our design team. By adhering to a simple method of process — listening to our clients, paying attention to details, understanding and delivering contract documents on time and on budget — we are able to make the process of architectural design more streamlined and fun.
